1. Who operates Finalyse.ai
Finalyse.ai is operated by Joicy A J, an individual based in Aluva, Kerala 683112, India. For privacy questions, grievances, or requests about your information, contact contact@finalyse.ai.
2. Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide personal-finance tracking and the features you choose to use:
- Account and profile data: email address, account identifier, sign-in method, name when supplied, and preferences such as currency, theme, and notification choices. You may sign in with email and password, Google, or Sign in with Apple.
- Financial records: transaction amounts, dates, descriptions, categories, budgets, recurring items, income, savings, loans, credit-card details, bills, and goals that you enter or import.
- Uploaded documents and AI requests: bank-statement PDFs you choose to import and the messages, questions, and selected financial context you submit to AI features.
- Technical and support information: information needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service, such as device, browser, request-log, and support-communication information.
- Subscription information: purchase, renewal, cancellation, and entitlement status supplied by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Finalyse.ai’s Android app is not yet released, and we do not use Firebase Analytics for the current iOS app.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; sync and display your records; calculate budgets and insights; provide imports, exports, notifications, and support; manage subscriptions; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your financial records, account information, or AI questions to data brokers, and we do not use financial records for behavioural advertising.
4. Service providers and sharing
We share information only as needed to operate the service, at your direction, to meet legal obligations, or to protect Finalyse.ai and its users. Relevant providers include:
- Supabase for authentication and database storage of account and financial records.
- OpenAI, when you choose to use an AI feature, to process the information needed for that request.
- Vercel to host and operate website or backend services.
- Google OAuth, when you choose Google sign-in, to authenticate your account.
- Apple App Store and RevenueCat for iOS purchase, renewal, cancellation, refund, and subscription-entitlement functions.
We may also disclose information where required by law or in response to a valid legal process, or when necessary to protect rights, security, and the integrity of the service.
5. AI features and your choice
AI features are optional. Before Finalyse.ai sends financial information or an uploaded document to an AI processor, the app asks for your permission and explains what may be shared. You can withdraw that permission in the Profile section of the app; core tracking, budgeting, and data-export features remain available.
Please do not enter passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers, or information you do not want processed by an AI provider. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances and are not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, credit, insurance, or other professional advice.
6. International processing and security
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. We use providers and access controls intended to protect information while it is processed. We use authentication controls and database access restrictions designed to limit access to a user’s own records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your device secure.
7. Retention, deletion, and your controls
We retain account and financial records while your account remains active so that the service can operate. You can export available records, delete selected tracked data, or permanently delete your account from the app’s Profile area.
- Delete tracked data: you can remove selected financial records while keeping your account.
- Delete account: account deletion removes your Finalyse.ai account and associated app data from active systems when the deletion completes.
- Exceptions: limited information may remain temporarily in routine backups or be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or tax purposes.

8. Your privacy rights and complaints
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, or withdraw consent for optional processing. To make a request or submit a grievance, email contact@finalyse.ai with the email associated with your account. We may limit or decline a request where permitted by law, including to protect security, comply with obligations, or protect another person’s rights.
Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and its rules apply to the relevant processing, you may exercise the rights and use the grievance process available under applicable law. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority where applicable.
9. Children
Finalyse.ai is intended for people aged 16 or older and is not directed to children under 16. If you are not legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction, use the service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by updating the effective date, posting in the app, or sending a notice. We will obtain consent for a new purpose where required.
